Prototype of an endless tower defense game inside a tower with multiple floors. Defend your wizard at the end of the highest floor from increasingly stronger waves of enemies.

Early state of development. Bugs might occur and balance might be off.

--- Introduction ---

Translating ancient runes is not easy, especially when a rune can have two very different meanings and could be easily mixed up. But this time, there is no doubt that your translation is correct and so you set off to study the magical ancient book of friendly(?) arts, that has been locked away 100 years ago in a dark cave. I wonder why ?

You are a wizard, that just wants to focus peacefully on your studies in a tower, but for some reason the locals don't want you there.

So you need to defend yourself by building defensive structures to keep them away from you, while you focus on your studies of the ancient book of friendly(?) arts! Your new friend, the friendly(?) spirit of the book will guide you to learn more about the friendly(?) arts, while you dive deeper into the secrets of the magical friendly(?) arts.

--- Controls---

A / D: Rotate the camera.

W / S: Go to next/previous floor of your tower. (Only available once you have atleast 2 floors)

P : Pause the game.

--- Gameplay ---

Try to defend the wizard from the incoming waves of enemies, that try to stop you from studying the ancient book. Build defenses, upgrade them and build new floors for your tower, so the enemies will have a harder time to reach you!

There are multiple ways to upgrade your defenses:

  • Upgrade the defensive structure with gold (Increases damage and makes it shoot slightly faster)
  • Upgrade the defensive structure with essences (Adds a unique effects to it, like poison or slow down effects)
  • Upgrade the wizards knowledge of the ancient arts by leveling up skills from the book. (Adds global buffs to your defensive structures)

This is an early build meant to gather some feedback and opinions on the game. Please be aware, that the current state of the game is not finished and might contain some bugs or might not yet be perfectly balanced. Not all aspects of the game might be explained in enough detail in the tutorial.

--- Known issues ---

  • (WebGL only) Fullscreen mode seems to break the UI. (The blue button breaks the UI, the grey one added by itch is ok) - Try to avoid FullScreen or maybe use one of the downloads.
